  I'd go with MiG-3, Bf.109 (any model from Emil to Gustav), B-25 Mitchell, Zero, all marks of Hurricane as well as the mid- to late-war Spitfires and the Mosquito, MC.202 Folgore, and the D.520.
  
  I'd add the Su-25 Frogfoot for the Russians, the F-111 Aardvark and A-10 Thunderbolt II for the Americans, and the Panavia Tornado for the Italians, British, and Germans for modern aircraft. I'd also add the Dassault Rafale for modern French aircraft.

I smell a more of a Fighter lean in the WWII aircraft, and a GAA lean for modern aircraft. : P
