Here's all the information I've typed up about my alien species, the Xorvax. I'm keeping this here for reference, if anyone wants to create one themselves. They're an open species! If you do make a Xorvax, link me to the art! I wanna see and catalog all the Xorvax that are made.

Species: Xorvax (alien)

Origin: Xorva-13 (planet), a far away planet with purple skies and yellow mega flora. A lush swampy climate occupies the majority of the planet, as well as a tundra and grasslands. The weather is similar to Earth's, albeit the rain is acidic but does not harm the fauna. All water on the planet is acidic, toxic to human life. Xorvax are born from the toxic sludge of the swamplands. Twins are a common occurance.

Personality: Xorvax are curious trouble makers. A self indulgent species, but selfless when it comes to others. Usually the Xorvax spend time alone or in groups. There is no heirarcy, as all Xorvax are equal. Each individual personality is different. For example, one Xorvax can be shy and aloof while another is boistrous and an open book. Every Xorvax has personal flaws, which makes the species diverse and rich. There is no concept of morality, nor laws. The Xorvax exist to live, and they choose to live life to the fullest. Mental disorders are present, but those with mental disorders are not looked down on. The Xorvax have a strong sense of community and are always there to help another in need. Some Xorvax have dominant personalities, some have submissive personalities. Others are neutral. If the Xorvax had a motto it would be "You do you".
Appearance: Xorvax have distinguishable features, such as their double or triple pupils, antennae, and long pointed ears. Some are born with horns, spikes, or none at all. Every Xorvax has the ability to regenerate lost limbs, as well as spawning and retracting multiple extremeties. Their appearance is that of a mix of species, with stompy thick feet. Xorvax are powerful and strong creatures, able to lift objects many times their weight and size. Their tails are usually long and are either tipped with a spade or not. Xorvax that live in the swamplands usually have spaded tailes, tundra and grassland dwellers usually do not. Their skin is not scaley at all! Instead the Xorvax have a thick, smooth hairless skin. Xorvax are born from sludge, giving them an internal structure of thick sludge. The Xorvax are extremely flexible and can squeeze through cracks and crevices that seem too small for them to fit. Colors are a range of blues and greens, mostly cool colors. If a Xorvax is born with warm color skin, this is a mutation. Mutations are common among the Xorvax. Such as: singular pupils, stunted limbs, warm skin tones, small ears, and a second tail. The Xorvax tail is prehensile and strong, able to lift themselves and other various objects. They are very agile with their tails, using tem for just about any activity they see fit. They are also able to grown and shrink the length of their tail at will. Eye color ranges from one side of the spectrum to the other. Xorvax vary in height, body type and weight. Gender is ambiguous. Some are born with no genitalia, while others have a set or two. Sex is more recreational than procreational. Some Xorvax may be promiscuous while others may not be.
Bioluminescence is also a distinguishing feature of the Xorvax. Their antennae constantly glow softly, getting brighter with different emotions and for different situations. In a dark cave, the glow from their antennae can come in handy. Bioluminescence isn't restricted to just the antennae, in fact some Xorvax have glowing patterns on their skin, glowing eyes, or other varieties. The glow is very important! The glow isn't present directly after birth, and also not present when a Xorvax has died. The glow is a sign of life, and in some instances a sign of passion and excitement.
