Give Me Weird Hybrids? (For Practice) by Therion

I've been trying to push a lot of practice since my laptop broke. I need something fun to do. I get inspired by making weird combinations of animals try to be functional.

Though I can't really come up with any or really decide what to draw. So why not ask people to drop me some feral combinations. I'll be able to get some practice and someone might enjoy it. (I'll try to do most of them so I'm sorry if I don't get to yours.)

They'll be traditional pencil or pen sketches. And sadly I only have my phone to take a picture so forgive me.

Example of a weird hybrid. Ataru is a large combination of animals and I loved making her so. Lol So giving me large lists of creatures won't scare me but make me happy. XD plus what's art without a little challenge.

    How about... Giraffe, Crocodile, Shark and... Giant Salamander :o Sorry just random animals off the top of my head XD I've actually been doing some theme's involving random hybrids >> so I think those are still a bit fresh on my mind haha XD

      Lol You stumped me for awhile with the giraffe xd! Lol but I think I found an OK medium between all the species. Lol I researched a bunch of sharks and went with a horned shark. XD the spots help with the giraffe's. Lol

      The face was a bit harder but I went with croc, salamander and a high ridge of the horned shark. Its body is mostly croc and salamander.

      Thank you for the fun idea to play with. I never drew a croc before Lol XD.

        Oh wow that turned out rather unique :) I love how you blended all of the creatures together. And yeah I totally understand XD Giraffe was a hard thing for me to work with as well if only because they have such a wonky body structure to work with LOL but this guy looks amazing. I love that cute little face and the body shape in general :o

          Lolz you gave me very unquie animals XD, I pictured weird alien giraffes for awhile before decided on a more aquatic build. I tried to focus on what was the giraffe's signature thing, little horns, long neck, or long legs. Neck it is!!! Lol

      I really wish I could color it, I'd love to give it a pallet. Lol I picture it quite colorful I. The head and neck but going into more plain or subtle colors. Lol
