Not in a Good Place Right Now... by Adleisio
Because I know some of you don't use FA much originally posted about 7 hours ago
If it is not one thing it is another, more shit keeps hitting the fan with family/life issues.
Solved my minor economic issue to have something else pop up.
In a single night I have:
-Contemplated suicide
-Thought about writing a Last Will and Testament, but never even opened a Document
-thought about cutting myself
-contemplated just going missing
-and etc.
Needless to say nothing i do seems to be enough to please my family and get them off my back, so they wrote a rather imposing "lease" agreement for staying with them after college.
I really just want to quit, but all I can do is cry and do nothing but cry.

Yeah, that is half the problem, I don;t really have a job, been trying, but not enough according to my parents, and then I don't really have friends or even a car. :|

I understand your pain. I was in the same boat. I looked everywhere for a job and had to walk around everywhere too. Parents can be a pain in the ass when it comes to that, they don't seem to understand that things have changed, and standards for working are different from when they looked for work. All I can say is to keep searching, and find what ever you can, especially if it's close by to where you live, and to try and look online for local furs or something, hang out when you can, and see if anyone is willing to lend you hand, whether that's with finding a job, or moving in. Do chores until you can pay for yourself or something. sorry, been through this mess myself and that's kind of what I did. really hope you can find some peace.

I guess I can take solace in knowing I am not the only one. I actually considered giving up a lot of my possessions and finding a Buddhist monastery

XD wow, don't do that. You can be a Buddhist and not go in a monastery. I thought about that too =p just do what you can to get by.

there are many places you can look for that will help you with that where you wouldn't have to conform to inhibiting rules. I count myself as a Buddhist, and I felt that I would be too confined in a monastery. But all those choices can be pretty bad at times, and down right unhealthy. Just look into your options before making any brash decisions.

It is hard to know what options you have when you don't know what options there are. I mean the monastery should have a place for people to take sabbaticals or something without becoming a monk, because I am not technically a Buddhist per se.

true, but some places require that you be a monk, or some other places have strict rules that need to be followed. If you really want to do that, it's your choice. you should always look online though to see what places around you could accommodate you for your situation.

I say to try and look for friends in your area and see if you could move in with them if your family is giving you problems. just make sure to pull your own weight aound.
