FYI: Etegami / Badge diference. by Edgelakanth

You probably see my Commissions page or my gallery and think "What is the difference between a badge and an "Etegami and why is the badge cheaper?". I'll explain you here:

Etegami: "Etegami is a Japanese folk art consisting of simple hand-painted drawings accompanied by a few apt words, and they are almost always done on postcards for quick and easy mailing. - http://www.nihonsun.com/2009/06/26/japanese-folk-art-etegami/"

.- These drawings are Japanese postcard size (3.94 x 5.83 inches / 10 x 14.8 cm.).
.- They might or not have background, depending how detailed the commissioner want it.
.- These are always made in that size, so I don't use Photoshop to make them bigger or smaller, be digital or traditional.
.- I can send both prints/originals.

Badge:

.- These drawings are in photo print size (2 x 3 inches / 5x7 cm )
.- These do not have background, using the paper texture as "background".
.- Usually I do a big picture on these and then retouch them with Photoshop to make them fit.
.- I only send prints for the stared reason.

So that is!

Remember that I am on a special sale with PWYW http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16129372/
