Hey all! I don't use weasyl, but I do have a Tumblr I made that I'll keep updated.
Right now it is only SFW content. I will have to make a separate NSFW blog I believe. I don't want to become an adult-only blog when not all of the stuff is adult-themed, but first I wanna just get used to tumblr before keeping up with two blogs x_x

Hope to see you there :D I think I'll have a much better time using tumblr than this site.

I'll be quite honest, i find following artists on tumblr to be more of a hassle than it's worth... Tumblr isn't an art site, nor was it designed to be one, so it's layout to me, seems counter productive when it comes to displaying art to a mass following, let alone if you've got many artists you're following yourself.
All that said i guess, good luck to you there, and I hope you change your mind on using Weasyl at least in some aspect for posting your artwork for those who won't be following you to Tumblr.

I still have FurAffinity if you prefer that! I mean, I also have a twitter (@FivelStuff) but don't post all of my art there, just some of it (aka only SFW). I tried to use Weasyl but found it's UI uncomfortable and (for the most part) the majority of my active watchers/commissioners are still at FA and found it more of a hassle than anything to keep posting here. In the end I suppose you can't please everyone, I am trying out Tumblr because A LOT of artists who are no longer on FA or Weasyl post on there. It's also nice to be able to see art outside of the echo chamber of the furry fandom.
I will say that tumblr isn't the most art-friendly site at all, which is kind of a shame. But I find it much more comfortable to use ironically, especially to give quick updates and see other peoples' profiles! Those who don't want to follow me on FA or tumblr can always follow me on my twitter. =)

I watched you here on Weasyl, not only because I enjoy your work, but because I have absolutely no interest in associating myself with FA any further outside of discussing the idiocy of it's ownership and their current management decisions.

I'm sorry to hear that you dislike Weasyl's UI, but to me, it's much easier and better laid out than what FA (or IMVU for that matter) could cook up. Not only that, you can always make suggestions for UI improvements in the forums for what you'd like to see changed, and if possible, i'm sure it would be taken into consideration.

My only issue here, is the content rating system, which seems bloated and can be difficult to get used too. I just recently had some of my images re-rated, with an explanation, because I had thought something was tagged properly, when it wasn't, rather than have it deleted with no reason as to why, which i've had happen in the past on FA.

And posting art to twitter baffles me even more than the use of Tumblr as an art gallery. Yeah, that's great that you get to see stuff outside of the furry fandom, but that still doesn't make it a dedicated art gallery site like Weasyl, or other such sites.

In the end though, as much as I enjoy your artwork, it's more of a hassle for me, as a viewer, to watch you somewhere that isn't meant to be an art viewing/favoriting platform. It's one of the many reasons i don't care to keep up with an artists personal website either, sad to say.. I like having my feed of art easily viewable, and in one place, rather than bookmarking websites that i'll honestly forget to check regularly after a while. Call it what you will, but that's how I feel.

I'll just be here if you decide to post your work and enjoy it then, but who am I but one user, you've no obligation to post here or anywhere for anyone, so good luck to you where ever you decide to be.
