I had heard of Weasyl a long time ago, but only heard of it being in a closed beta, so I wasn't really interested in it.

However, after hearing some of the artists I watched on previous art sites were creating/moving accounts to Weasyl, I decided to come here so I could find and watch them for their awesome arts.

But I also have a problem submitting my own work.

Since most of it is writing, I usually use Notepad to write the stories in my notebook onto my computer. However, Weasyl seems to not accept that format, nor does it accept Word documents. It says it must be encrypted with UTF or something (can't remember exactly).

How does one convert these files into the format that Weasyl wants?
