Where I'm At! by BigBlueSkies

HI DUDES.
A journal is probably not what you want from me. MORE ART, says you, and you will have it! In time.

Here's how things are going.
my house still has a dumpster and a pod in front of it. I'd estimate we're at 90% completion. They have to paint and mount a door on the basement, get us some railings, put in plate covers and light fixtures, and then carpet the upstairs.

I wager by May my brother and I will be able to return home, a full year after we had to flee it that night. But we are so close it gives me a ton of hope. Thank all of you for being there for me. Every little bit has helped.

I am going to be working with some folk to build a new computer instead of purchasing a rig outright. Need to have something that can handle games and photoshop! It's hard to be an artist and not have your tools. It was like I had my wings clipped, and I'm going to have to relearn how to do a lot of stuff. If anyone can spare time later on, I would appreciate it.

I might start finally throwing stories on here, even though Weasyl is hardly the most supportive environment for it. My Boundless universe is finally developed enough for things to start happening with it. i have a tumblr specifically for universal concepts, so check back here soon for updates!

Other 'n that? Not much going on, gonna be planning on AC this year, although I fucked up and had to book the Doubletree instead! Ah well! Look forward to seeing folks there!

This is gonna happen. I'm taking my life back.

Great to hear you're doing well, hun! I'm delighted to hear your house, PC, and stories are all coming along, and I wish I could hang with ya at AC! <3

Glad to hear you're doing alright. I built my own computer in the fall of 2013, and it's served me well! It was challenging, but worth it.
