Bleh. Just not been at a PC much at all past few weeks to really care to type stuff up till now. Doing so by a smartphone to here is just murder heh.

First off Texas Furry fiesta was an overall good experience. Even with me sick in my room 70% of my stay there thanks to some drink combo i did royally disagreeing with me. I got to meet :iconbuckyboy: in person for the first time! Someone been watching since late 1996 of stuff they drew. Also hanged out with :iconipequey: :iconblimpwolf: :iconshoreleave: :icongrimmroth: and more from the puffy or "my drinking crew" most of the time. Ran into eddiefox who used to come to my meets back in 2006-2007 era I haven't seen since then. Was like ReunionCon for me even with me missing most of the actual com itself. The hotel is pretty slick and the atmosphere was very good to me. and all the foodie and beer snob places in walking distance were good too. Just hated having to be forced to stay another day eating another day of vacation and another day to pay for a room cause of bad weather. Definitely returning next year!

Over this weekend, :iconbadgerben: :iconwebster: and I went to the Delaware furBowl for the first time to see how that event is. A lot from the states nearby seem to frequent it and say positive things of it. ~80 or so were present this visit. I don't care for the 3+ hour drive each way to it if had no place to crash nearby, but I did like the atmosphere of the group and the bowling alley itself. Bowled 3 games and had 140 on the final game. Been like 8 years since ever did that 'well'. :P I ran into Tuskin, MaxGoof (I think?), White Paw, Scooter Squirrel, :icondenimwizard: and Midori, Artie... Quite a few I haven't seen or talked to in years and again... felt like ReunionCon2 heh. If they time the events well I will be back for more of them.

Been trying to doodle a couple times a week if possible. But tough to have energy and motivation be high enough to wanna do that consistently. But I'm trying. Not been feeling like bothering with learning digital stuff yet, since i like the feel of pencil and paper and still trying to get basic basics down and comfy with it before I care to tackle digital stuff. None of that is fun to me and would just kill my care to draw in a super short time.

Furthemore, a now local con (45 min drive away) happening end of May I'll be hitting. Got a room and registration all squared away today for it. In a good spot for food and stuff to do, and I hoe to take some folks to the nearby Dogfishhead restaurant in that area (not touched that location yet). Curious who is going who watches me.

And yes, fursuits. I got burned on the first one I had made years ago as a whole and it left a bad taste in my mouth on the whole experience... But, been wondering if worth years down the road when got the $ to care to splurge on such a thing to have one (a partial at least) made of EricSkunk. I wouldn't have to worry about how Kendall or Sir Kain would react to x, and just be myself heh. But, not sure how much would get used, how long it would last, if worth 1800-2500$ to throw at such a thing i;d use at cons somewhat and that's it, etc... But I do know if I get one again, going to really check on how the person/groups reputation is on making suits quality wise and see if i'm a good candidate to have one or not at all.
