When Wanting To Draw a Character by ilbv

You ever meet a character that you intensely want to Draw just for the sake of Drawing them and your character together?

Or you've devoted hours upon hours of planning, sketching, erasing, paper crumpling, frustration, sharpening, scanning, shading, digitizing, and brightening to a picture that in the end looks like chicken scratch against the work that other people have given to the very same character.

How in the world would I even remotely be able to talk to them or have the courage to offer my gift now?

How can I prove that I admire and care about a person and their character if I can't give them incredible things?

I know money (or in this case) art can't buy you happiness or friends or love, but it certainly can help you get noticed, then what happens after that first impression is entirely up to you and how the two characters behave with each other.

This is when you find out of you can be friendly or not. It could be a dream date or a disastrous nightmare.

Where am I going with this? I wish I could draw like the really good people and be able to surprise someone with a tremendous picture.
