Things are kinda so-so. I could use more paying customers coming in. The glass panel in the back door was finally replaced on Tuesday, so that is good.
My favorite cake... probably carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. :)

Glad to hear that the panel is fixed at least. I'm a total sucker for any kind of chocolate cake.

Chocolate is good. My sister ended up getting me a "Cookies n Creme" cake, which was a good choice (it is my favorite ice cream anyway). Chocolate on the bottom, vanilla on top frosted with a whip cream type stuff that wasn't really sweet like regular icing and then decorated with whole and crushed mini oreos. :D

What did you want to be when you were a little kid, and how has that affected your development into adulthood? O:

I never really had a solid "I want to be this!" when I was a kid. At different points I wanted to be a lawyer or nurse... but then realized that I am far too introverted for those things. Then when I got into drawing, I wanted to be an animator... but then decided I hated drawing such sequential pictures (I did experiment animating my own stuff in high school). After that I didn't have a plan... which is one reason I never went to university. :P

I had similar jumps from different ideas. Firefighter, policeman, astronaut. I wanted to be a cop most of my childhood, but in high school I really got into science and medical care. Went to college four years and got a degree in environmental health, then decided that was too pocket-protector. Now I'm back getting my paramedic, definitely a lot more exciting than doing safety inspections.
I dabbled with the idea of being a comic illustrator (like Marvel or DC stuff), but lost interest as I learned more about how terrible the industry is for artist. I thought about animation, but the closure of Walt Disney World's animation studio hit me pretty hard and discouraged me considerably. After that I considered being a novelist, but felt it was too risky to really bank on as a career. :x
Also, you'd be surprised how many nurses and lawyers are introverts. I'm introverted myself, but I find I have a "switch" that gets flipped when I'm working EMS.

SFW: I shoplifted. -- NSFW: I had sex with a guy in a public park just off the walking trail... where we could see people walking past us, but they couldn't see us. XD

Had a big party and invited all of my parents biker friends (and they came) to scare a roommate I had who was being an unreasonable dick. :)
