Felt like making a journal that I didn't also crosspost to FA. I've kind of fallen off of the internet a bit, short of maintaining contact with my skype peeps.

So how are y'all? Anything cool going on?

I've done a lot of traveling this winter (south Texas to visit the beau's family, New York to also visit more of the beau's family, Toronto because we got free airfare and booze outta the deal.) So my art output's been slow like frozen maple syrup, but it's been a fun time regardless.

Saw Sleep No More in New York, which is kind of this... almost haunted house setup, except instead of scaring people, the actors are playing out a pantomime version of MacBeth. And you can wander around and do anything you want other than speak or touch the actors, which was pretty cool because they put an insane amount of detail into each room (and there were about four or five floors of them.) Letters written from one character to another, scrawlings on the walls of a sanitarium, an unsettling amount of taxidermy, and that sort of thing, all either set to a jaunty 20's tune or a melancholy drone.

So that was cool.

I can't think of any other pointless things to talk about that aren't about my dog, so, I'll leave this at that.
