Whee Dentist - And Therapy Gliders! by Taesolieroy

Bleugh, after several years of not having serious dental work, and almost six months after the panic attack I had trying to get back into the seat, I now officially have a new filling. Next session will have three others filled with a back-to-back cleaning chasing after it to combat my advanced decay condition. From what I saw of the chart, they've marked my remaining wisdoms to be yanked, so I'll have a slightly lopsided tooth count on my lower jaw with a missing bicuspid (never had an adult tooth).

Not impressed with the fact I had scheduled a cleaning for today, only to find it was changed to a filling... Yeeeaaahhhh not the best of ideas for someone getting back into the chair, but it turned out that once I've been through it, I think the cleaning will be a lot easier to cope with. Not looking forward to a triple filling though.. At least I can't tell where they did the filling aside from a tenderness around the gums.

On the plus side I was able to bring the sugar gliders Thony and Xeeva in with me (in their freshly washed pouch and under fleece for allergenic consideration) due to the fact that they will hopefully within the week be registered officially as therapy animals. Probably the first gliders of Maine/US as far as I know to have that title. On top of that I've been considering setting up a single breeding pair to raise therapy-grade gliders (aka - more socialized than your average pet glider) alongside my pursuit to become a Reiki master. Imagine going around to hospitals to offer energy work and time with specially raised animals to patients that can ride around in one's pocket or hoodie!

Hopefully the pain'll go away by my birthday. Not impressed that the parents have a show that night this coming Friday, and I'm looking at either a quiet night at home, or sitting in on my brother's bowling league with a writing/sketch pad jotting ideas down..
