I haven't yet played Starbound, but I absolutely LOVE the soundtrack. Very good music to listen to while working on art :)

When I played the game it had just been released in an early form; I built up a modest homestead and gathered resources and got myself all prepared to activate the satellite dish to fulfill my quest log. I was wholly unprepared for the onslaught that the invading penguin aliens wrought. My humble little homestead was ruined and I died a lot.

Well i've been using a mod for my game to have a wolf like race x3

and after playing a while i was inspired to make her a character :3 i even made a huge background story and everything~!

It's been a while since I played. I gotta try again after the new update. I think the most fun I've had with this game is the random name generator XD

ive been tempted to get the game but i don't really have anyone to play around with, and i know i'd get bored too fast playing alone umu

I should look into this game...since I love sci-fi stuff!

Before it was patched out, I wired a door to itself, locking a bunch of people into a room. Standing outside, I deployed Jingle Bells on an accordion. Within 15 seconds, someone screamed "THE ONLY ESCAPE IS DEATH" and the murder-suicides began.

I made a dirt ship and then used the grappling hook on it accidentally after making it head to a planet and I essentially hung on to the back of the ship wiggling around in hyperspace until it stopped. Good game 10/10

Let's see... one time I was deep under this one planet with some friends of mine and I accidentally hit fine sand (or the loose sand that crumbles when you hit it) and an avalanche of it buried all of us. It didn't stop falling, it just kept coming down. Unfortunately there was more of it below us and we were trying to mine our way out for a good couple of minutes. The game lagged so bad during all of that it was insane.

I love playing Starbound with my girlfriend and we've had some silly little adventures. Like the first quest you get where there is a boss, that giant crystal like thing. I barely did anything my goodness, every time I entered the room I'd get killed instantly then have to treck through the entire base back to her to try and help, sobs

I play with my boyfriend and I am in charge of creating our home, after making the perfect house I went exploring to find more materials and when I came back all was decorated with banana posters and weird stuff, the house was filled with monsters, and my bf was hiding under the house lmao

Its hard to be a housewife on starbound :/

once, two friends and i were wandering around a desert biome planet and every time i would try to mine the coal or some other valued ore, they would dig below me and collapse all of the sand onto my character. they usually have to help me out, because i'm always buried so deep. u_u there was also this time a friend and i found a passive avian village and while we were purchasing things from the NPCs a random meteor shower occurred. or the time we were in a passive Glitch village there was a random fire shower.

Back when they added the ability to capture creatures like pokemon, there was one that my partner really wanted, but couldn't get for whatever reason I can't remember. It was dumb looking and I didn't want it, but I caught it for him and gave him the pokeball thing. When he released it, though, it would only follow me around. I WAS ITS TRUE MASTER. I had a stupid ugly thing following me around and Brice was jealous.
