Adoptable Project Sales? by chutkat

I was wondering if people on weasyl are interested at all in purchasing adoptable projects from artists?

For example, in one of the websites I go to, it is very common for people to commission artists to make adoptable lines/ templates, etc to purchase it from them and they run the adoptables they purchased and are allowed to do with them whatever they like, they eventually make the money they spent on the adoptable project back because they are allowed to sell these adoptables of course.

I haven't seen that on weasyl, or FA, so do people do this at all on these types of communities?

    the most popular ive seen lately are the ones done by http://www.furaffinity.net/user/waitress/
    its not commissioned lines but available for everyone to buy since its interchangeable
    
    there's a ton more when you just look it up in search, some free stuff

I've seen it decently often on FA, but still far less than the bases like Waitress' linked above in the other comment.
I've seen mostly original species templates being commissioned so that the original owner can color and sell adopts

    I personally love commissioning lines to color. As long as the artist is ok with it! I usually repost as a "collab" piece :)
