I have to admit that I'm one of the many, MANY people who went over to Weasyl because I had some issues with the way FA was/is being run and I thought it made sense to diversify my online presence a little bit. But then when FA came back up and/or the most current controversy died down I went right back to it. Like it or not, it's still the biggest social space in the furry community, and as long as it has that kind of critical mass I'm not sure you can really disconnect from it entirely.

Even still, I would like to start putting in the work to make Weasyl more of a welcoming and communal presence, so hello. :) It'll take me a little bit to figure out how to navigate this space and even longer to actually write something that I feel is worth putting up here, but I hope that it ultimately won't take too long.

I'd like to really focus on..well, focus this year. And being consistent. I'm one of those people who tends to build a structure for projects, go in with a plan and then...completely fall on my face when it comes time to execute. I'd really like to stop that trend, so for now I just want to start simple. Maybe every week or two, come up with (and write) a really simple story that I can post up here. I have so many ideas that are just waiting their turn because I can't really get it together enough to get anything out.

But that's enough out of me for now. I'm looking forward to being in this space more often, and to see what all of you guys are cooking up!
