I got mine by walking into the store, taking it off the Amiibo shelf, and buying it at the counter; apparently this is not a typical experience in obtaining one, as Nintendo announcing another shipment of the things a few days ago caused everyone to lose their shit.

Christ, I hope this isn't going to be a trend, the Fire Emblem Amiibos are the only ones I actually care about. (This is the only cost-effective way to get plastic tat based on Fire Emblem, unlike most other Nintendo franchises, so as a connoisseur of both Fire Emblem and plastic tat I'm totes all over 'em, but this also means I'm back where I started if they're going to be as hard to get as higher-end stuff.)
