So about a week ago I was really upset by something a friend of mine had said about my art.
They said I don't have a definitive art style.
Now while this is partially true, I draw many styles and ideas.
I also DO feel I have a style. When I go back through my gallery I noticed I draw a very similar style a lot of the time.
I border cartoon/comic.
It's the shading and coloring that changes a lot.
Being half color blind I do have a major issue with seeing in 3D.
So doing coloring or shading in 3D tends to be a major weakness of mine.
And until I find something that works for me completely you will see that part of my work always in flux.
I will be back to art once I see my DR and figure out what's wrong in the next stages of my medical issues.
Which is soon. :D
Perhaps. You could totally be right. Thank you for the kind words. I feel the same way about art, it is always in flux, no one ever stays the same in style we are always branching out and trying new things. Exploring and learning. That's what I love so much about the art field. Never a dull moment. :D

Heal first.
Shouldn't all artists' styles be in constant flux as they grow and evolve their craft? Stagnation is what made "Garfield" the boring, horrible crap it has become today. Your style is the combination of things that stay the same while your techniques and methods change. I guarantee you it's there, perhaps your friend cannot pick out those things because the properties your product that are unique to you are too subtle for her to appreciate.
