    1. When a submission contains things relevant to my interests beyond a passing thought, contains characters or friends I have a personal connection to, and/or is otherwise interesting or different.
    2. Seen-this-same-shit-10-times-already, contains characters or people that are hostile to me, or otherwise has little use for my attention or effort.
    3. No.
    4. Yes.
    5. No, you've had good customer service and a welcoming attitude.
    6. Intelligent, unreserved, and confidant.
    7. Expand. Explore. Test. Push. Break out. Dive deep into what makes you tick and crank that dial to 11.

1 - Seeing characters I'm familiar with, seeing a picture that depicts a scene in a story, or even something quirky in the description.
2 - Generic poses, lack of context or imagination, or if I've already stated my opinion to the artist in a note/email/tweet.
3 - Sometimes. If someone already said something I was thinking, I won't repeat it.
    4 - Absolutely!
5 - Yes, but I feel that way about most people. XD
    6 - I believe you are a professional, no-nonsense, person.
7 - I believe you've already got a firm idea of what to do. I couldn't possible provide any additional help.

1 - What motivates you to comment on a submission?
When I have something constructive to say. I also tend to comment when it depicts something I'm familiar with (characters from a book or series, for instance) or if the artist asks for feedback on something of the art in particular in the description.

2 - What demotivates you to comment on a submission?
If it's something I can't say more about than "nice" or "good work", I tend to not comment simply because that kind of comment can be considered spam by artists.

3 - Are you discouraged to leave a comment if the submission already has a lot of comments?
Not necessarily, no. Unless someone has already said what I was wanting to say.

4 - Do you feel more inclined to leave a comment in a submission if the artist usually replies to its comments?
    Yes.

5 - Do you find me intimidating to approach? Why?
    Not really, no.

6 - What impressions do I give off (or, what do you assume about me)?
    Friendly and very driven artist.

7 - Any suggestions you want to give?
Not really, as you seem to have a good idea of what you're doing and how to do it. c:

    1. When I really like the piece in question or I have a character in the piece.
    2. Pieces with nothing happening (like the “classic” character standing nonchalantly against a white background), pieces containing content or themes I dislike (probably no surprise), sometimes pieces with highly sexual or fetishy themes, when I simply don’t really have anything to say
    3. Yes
    4. No
    5. No more than anyone else I don’t really know – I often feel intimidated sended messages to people, especially if it’s not a direct reply to something, but that applies to everyone, not just you
    6. Professional, friendly
    7. Not especially.

1 - If I like it I usually comment with something simple (nice, cool, etc.) but if something particularly sticks out I'll go more indef.
2 - If I don't like it, not interested in it or if the artist is rude/whiny in the description.
3 - No, but I'll usually try to say more than one word
4 - No, if I feel like commenting I'll even comment on something from years ago from a inactive artist.
    5 - No
    6 - You're passionate about art
    7 - None really

1 - What motivates you to comment on a submission?
I rarely comment. I'm more of a lurker and always have been. I used to comment with attempts at critique but got jumped on too often, so unless I have commissioned an image myself I tend to stay quiet.
2 - What demotivates you to comment on a submission?
Artists with a history of being aggressive toward their viewers. Past experience. Artwork I didn't personally commission.
3 - Are you discouraged to leave a comment if the submission already has a lot of comments?
Assuming it is an artist who accepts more than ass-pattery... If what I've already wanted to say has already been said, I'll tend not to comment.
4 - Do you feel more inclined to leave a comment in a submission if the artist usually replies to its comments?
    Actually, yes.
5 - Do you find me intimidating to approach? Why?
I honestly hadn't considered that. Now that I've had a moment to consider it, no.
6 - What impressions do I give off (or, what do you assume about me)?
You seem extremely competent and somewhat opinionated.
7 - Any suggestions you want to give?
Nothing stands out, so please continue being you and creating wonderful art.

    1. What motivates me to comment on a submission is when either the image invokes a story to rise from my mind so strongly I can't help but write it out, is done well enough to warrant praise, or caters to a specific desire of mine that I would care enough to encourage it further.

    2. What is commonly cause for me to not comment is the nature of works which lack originality, rehashed poses, or individuals / illustrators whom cannot tolerate receiving critique that is negative. In addition, any works that are not of interest (because let's face it, you can't comment on every image posted, otherwise you look like a stalker, or have no life.)

    3. Being discouraged to leave a comment due to the level of comments is only relevant provided that the sentiment of the comment planned has already been said.

    4. Provided the illustrator replies to comments, it is a good way to get a feel for each person that follows your works. While I lean towards yes with this question, I understand the impractical nature of such for reasons stated prior.

    5. I do not find anyone intimidating to approach - it is the manner in which they (the illustrator) responds which can dictate if I would respond again, however.

    6. I currently have no impressions of you.

    7. While I could give suggestions, it is upon my own personal preferences that they would be based upon, and thus I feel it would detract from the growth of your works as an individual.

1 - When there's something that I'm really impressed by or really like in it that I don't see drawn often I'm likely to comment.
2 - When submissions that already have dozens of comments, or when the main thing I have to say is critiquing the piece but the artist hasn't specifically asked for any.
    3 - Yes, see above.
    4 - Yes
5 - I've never considering approaching you, but you don't seem intimidating.
6 - I don't really know you well enough to have any impressions.
7 - Art critique wise? Otherwise nothing in particular.

1 - What motivates you to comment on a submission?
    Exceptional artwork often deserves comment.

2 - What demotivates you to comment on a submission?
Brick walls. If it's clear a comment will go ignored, why take the time to write it in the first place?

3 - Are you discouraged to leave a comment if the submission already has a lot of comments?
By comment count itself? No. But a large number of comments increases the likelihood that what I'd want to say has already been said.

4 - Do you feel more inclined to leave a comment in a submission if the artist usually replies to its comments?
On one hand, absolutely. On the other, perhaps it's a bit hypocritical to say that. I gotta reply more...

5 - Do you find me intimidating to approach? Why?
Not particularly. Then again, haven't had much reason to beyond a quickie sketch commission recently.

6 - What impressions do I give off (or, what do you assume about me)?
You establish rules for communication right up front, which I can only assume is in reaction to people you've had to deal with before. But either way, it's fine.

7 - Any suggestions you want to give?
Take anything written here with a grain of salt.
