2014 is over, and it has been quite an interesting year on all regards, good and bad.

Probably the biggest good thing that happened in 2014 is me getting back into art.
I have drawn most of my life, but when school ended I pretty much stopped doing that and focused solely on work and some of my other hobbies. Most of my work at that point had been traditional, with some pixel art for games and demos that I have made or helped to make.

The good started with me making a Weasyl account early that year, and I kinda only did it because :iconWoofle: had migrated there and I didn't want to miss out on her absolutely fantastic music. I suggest you all take some looks at her gallery, there's a toooon of music and holy hell its great !

So the account got made there, and I started to upload some music of mine there. One day out of blue I get a comment, and I made a new music friend. He got fed up with the site and stopped using it and has pretty much disappeared from the furry world unfortunately. is the guy. I talk to him every now and then, I hope his life gets better one day...

One thing leads to another though, and I became active at the forums of the site because him. That is where I met more cool people, and also marked the point when I started to get back into art, seeing all the sketchbook threads and attempts at getting better doing art, my friend included.

Around that time I injured my back and I was stuck in bed for a while. That is the most bad thing this year, and really without it I can say that the next bits I am going to write would have problably never happened.
Those also were the times I really started drawing, at first with a mouse and then later on with the Toshiba Tecra M4 to vastly enhance my artistic output.
Biggest and most awesome thing at that time were the NyanChat sessions that one now MIA person hosted. I got to draw, see others draw, and chat with some awesome people. That is where I met and both awesome artists and friends. One cool guy that attended the Nyanchat sessions was who was making some good progress on art fronts, but when the sessions ended seems his art ventures did too, and so seem to have our communication...

At this point I am making rapid progresses in art. And at this point I also started to attend streams. Through I discovered Doffa, and one day one awesome guy called pops up in his stream. Each stream has some regulars and these aren't exceptions. A somewhat short-lived skype group of Chanrom's regulars got formed by cloudwolf that I titled "streamcreatures" on my end. Other participants are/were wilsonjackal thorai each one being a really cool person, I haven't really gotten to know them a whole lot though, except Cloudwolf and Genetta who I have talked to fair bit. Genetta I had actually known before, since the time she had a different named account at FA, and prior to the awful schit that happened to her. One day I got a note on FA from her telling my positiveness was appreciated and eventually something along the lines of friendship happened. She's one of the most amesome people I have ever met, whoa really. She has gone quiet though... not sure if it is my fault, hopefully not. It happened after the Orion launch, which was something really significant to her...

I also met this year, I actually had known him outside the fandom, from chip/game music related fields, it was a huge surprise to me to find him here hahaha. He is now one of my better friends. Art + Music combo is a winner.

captainzana is one other unexpected friendship that happened this year. I hope this year will be good to her, there's been way too much shit going on around there...

There have been other mostly music related people that I have met outside the fandom. I guess this year has mostly been meeting new people, and drawing hahaha. My music output has definitely been very low.
This is also the year where I began to really dislike my current work and vastly reduced my presence on the internet.
Microsoft also made using old Skype versions really difficult and it rubbed me the wrong way.

I am starting to lose my flow of thought, repairing a laptop for the moment, and also watching an art stream lol.

All in all, 2014 has been a great year, when some really important things happened.

2015 is a year that is gonna be awesome. I am going to take a looooong break from work and focus entirely on my own projects. There's some massive conflict of interest with my work and hobbies so my own things have stagnated for 2 years already D:
I need this break ! I'll get a whole lot done and feel great about it.

My new year resolutions are :

• 2048 x 1536, failing that 1600 x 1200.
• Finish my Sega SG-1000 / SC-3000 game
• Finish SMSDMA and the game that runs on this hardware
• Draw more and learn to draw faster. Also draw the things I have said I'll draw but haven't yet done.
• Start and finish my new music making software, and make more music !
• Build a prototype of my invention (I hoped to be done with it last year...)
• Increase my presence on some parts of the internet, I have become very inactive... enough that some people worry where I have disappeared D:
• Start looking for a girlfriend, I am kinda really missing the closeness of another person...
• Reach my weightloss target and work on increasing my upper body strength.
• Start hosting NyanChat sessions.

What a wall of text... lol.
