LISA the Painful RPG by kerplunk

Persons of all stripes and colors and formats. Please consider playing this game: http://store.steampowered.com/app/335670/. I finished it last night, and it is a gut-wrenching tale of decisions and consequences. It seems to have the possibility of multiple endings, branching paths, and basically many different permutations of how events play out. Not sure if anything is randomized, but I'm sure that I didn't see all of the content available. I mean, 32 out of 50 or so achievements, that spells "REPLAY" to me.

Also the music is fantastic, the themes and story and characters are marvelous, and there are very potent, poignant tie-ins to the previous game, also called LISA (the first).

both games are made with RPG maker, and I freaking love how far this guy took the idea on such a game making tool. Very well done. Well-worth your 10 US bucks, if you're into a darker, introspective, philosophical game that somehow maintains a sense of humor throughout the experience.

It will hurt you though. It is a painful RPG. 8/10

I feel old. I'm from an era when you didn't buy RPG maker games, you downloaded them from obscure Russian websites.

heh, I can relate to that tho, I'm simply happy to see that tool being used to produce games I can love.
