I know I don't have a lot of followers, but maybe this will help someone else who browses through Journal Posts as I do. I've seen a LOT of people posting lately who have started a new account simply because they wanted a different user name.
This is not FA, peoples. The nice folks here at Weasyl provide a way to change your account username, which means you don't have to notify anyone you're switching. You don't have to re-favorite/re-friend people. You don't have to re-upload your art, etc.
It's explained in the FAQ's, that apparently no one reads (chuckle). (Maybe they should make it more prominent?...shrug) Copy/pasted for those who don't want to follow the link:
"If you need to change your username, send an email to support@weasyl.com from the email address you registered your account with. Be sure to mention your current username as well as the username you would like it changed to."

This journal is five years old and I'm not part of the support team here. I had posted this journal at that time due to a high number of journal posts along the lines of "How do I change my user name?"
You will need to contact Weasyl's staff for assistance if it's not working. Contact is on the bottom of every page on the right side under the Support header. Good luck.
