ugh I couldn't agree more tbh people never give cartoons a chance just because they're cartoons and it really pisses me off??
age means nothing, anyone can watch them because a lot of cartoons these days have elements that everyone can enjoy!-
I GREW UP WITH IT TOO! we have it on vhs popped it in and indulged in old christmas vibes, sang along with every song till my other sister punched me in the arm
AND HER reasons for not liking it were the style i dont get it thats how it was made it was made to replicate the book??
and yeah! i mean there is some difference with adult cartoons but regular cartoons that aren't profane should be enjoyed by all audiences. People really gotta grow up bc if they don't we're going to have more "cartoon elitist" people who think they are better than people who watch gumball or steven universe because they watch south park and Rick n morty, which is ridiculous because its just cartoons-
Yesss I used to watch it on vhs too, where did those times go?? and wtf that's really rude? I thought the style was really unique and to the way it was animated was way cool! it'll always be one of my top xmas specials <33
yup yup plus some adult cartoons are really dumb (coughsmrpicklescough) and yeah that is a problem. they're all just cartoons and making a big deal
out of the whole thing is really stupid and childish, can't we just enjoy them?-
oh god i despise mr.pickles. its just nonstop nonsense. and i'm no expert on religons but I'm pretty sure reckless murder and such aren't really saranistic practices. though i will admit i enjoy the ren and stimpy adult party cartoons once in a good while.
and agreed lets just join hands and just turn on the telly and enjoy some good ol cartoons-
pft it's just an alfred alfer wannabe anyways, i hate cartoons like that that's just a bunch of useless crap and agreed
I like watching the ren and stimpy adult cartoons sometimes too, they're pretty great tbh

my sister said scooby doo cartoons were better than the olive the other reindeer xmas movie the other day and it made me very sad
i also really hate how people associate target age groups as the /only people/ who should watch the show like watching a little gravity falls or adventure time wont kill you because you arent around 7 years old it's really silly. Cartoons are for everyone
