Haha exactly.
I've basically made the transition. Just trying to get everyone else to get their asses over here!! D:<But yeah, clients x3x It sucks that we have to depend on that d-mn site for our income.

I agree. They come here, post, and leave, then go back to FA once it comes back up. Kind of pisses me off... I can understand why they're so dependent on it, but jesus....

If someone could just tell the clients that there are artists here who quit FA and would rather be commissioned here, just... I mean, is it really that hard to join a new site? Or is it just too inconvenient?

I would love to leave FA completely, but FA has the largest sales for Furry art still. With the take over, I know I will be more active on my other sites and hope to gain notice :) Hope your day goes well hon.

All of the above that has been stated, SO TRUE. That's why I'm having such a hard time with Weasyl & DA.
Going BACK on DA I remembered why I left xD All the dang theft...Thinking of maybe Inkbunny or Sofurry. What's your opinion?

I use them all, but fa is by far the best for Furry related art still, just due to the long last base. But with all the problems with servers/owners rumors...Hard to get back the drama to the gems. At the same time it's hard no to over stretch yourself. DA is wonderful! But it's also for ALL artworks while FA is mainly furry related so its hard to get a following. Weasyl has a wonderful system but not many followers so harder to make your sales/buys. Ink and Sofurry are still new to me, but I hear INK has the same following as FA... I know 90% of my sales come from FA, twitter and Facebook. I think with any artist the best way to gain followers is doing free art once in a while, people see free and go nuts, but it can also get you negative results. lol long winded sorry

And I've found with free art, that's all they come for. They won't commission you later, they retract their watch if you didn't do something for them, etc....
So whenever I do something like that, I always go through the loyals first or someone who seems to have little to no art, vs grab n go :c-
I have been lucky. Every friday I post a free journal for something I want to work on, lines, sketches chibi..I make it a wing it, and full artistic freedom so I can get through them fast. It helps my gallery and also spreads the word of my work. I've been luck for every 10 i do, i get 2-3 that are idiots or just kids. But I've gained nearly 300 followers on fa (rolls eyes cause fa is pissing me off) in the last two months due to my friday events. Think of it like this. For everyone 1 art piece you do, 10 people see it. when the person post it thats another 10...someone favs or comments..keeps adding up. Free art isnt for everyone. On my journals I make sure they know I will pick and choose what I want to do, and you may get the art today it may be 6 months from now. I only do them when I want to or have time. ♥

people won't leave FA until it sinks, implode, explodes, melts and freezes solid at the same time... and even then people will cling to that carcass of a site :/

I wish people would stop being stubborn and just leave the site already. Though I understand some artists need to stay because of the clients, the clients are holding people back now. Start giving them an incentive to GTFO that site xD (NOT THAT THERE ISN'T ENOUGH INCENTIVE ALREADY)
