Forced to 8.1 again by GlacierK
well I've given up on avoiding 8.1. I made restore points, I even went into my computer and put in codes to keep updates from forcing, but nothing. I was forced to update again last night, and when I went to system restore, Windows 8.1 had the motherfucking BALLS to DELETE EVERY SINGLE RESTORE POINT I MADE.
so I've given up on trying to avoid 8.1, I'm just accepting that it's making my art programs act weird, and until Microsoft stops being a bunch of douchecanoes and fix their fucked up update, I'll just have to deal with everything. :/
my pain is doing better at least, i got put on hydrocodone again because oxycontin wasn't doing shit. Dr said she'll get me in contact with a pain specialist by January so until then she decided to be a total Angel from the tops of Heaven and give me 120 hydrocodone pills so I can be held over on pain until the new year. <33333
otherwise, working on the last customers on DigiXXX, i'll be getting updates to you commissioners in the next few days, and things are doing better now that I have SOMETHING to dull my pain.

hope it comes for free or something like 8.1 did on my windows 8. doubt it, but I just wish they let me have the choice to avoid .1 with it's buggy as fuck system. DX

Yeah...I tried looking it up to see if it would be but no word yet though. They way they are talking though, it will be fully out next year hopefully.

Windows 8.1 is temperamental like that. I guess I've been lucky to not have any major issues other than the little quips here and there every so often that I can fix.
Im just waiting for 10, which they are taking their dear sweet time with this time and asking for techs to test them out and give feedback. My mate being one of them, and so far, other than first time bugs and its update fixes, he tells me it runs really well.
