I'm going to preface this by saying that I don't want to offend anyone..but it might.

This pile of steaming bullshit was just passed through our house, which means it'll easily pass everywhere else. Now I don't mean to offend everyone, but this right here is just legalizing bigots. It's so hurtful seeing that this can just be passed and no one bats an eye.

I still live with my family, and when I brought this to them all my father did was tell me to have "faith" in people that it won't pass. Fucking faith is what started things like this in the first place! So no, I can't have faith in our supermajority of republican senate or republican anti-LGBT governor to veto this.

Now I still haven't come out to my father or brother, I kind of came out to my mother but not really, I say this and don't come out because my father's actions are decidedly anti-LGBT, even if he doesn't voice it. HE HAS A STEP SISTER WITH A LESBIAN PARTNER. But whenever I bring up something like this he's just dismissive or avoids the topic. I'm just so alone here...
