I completely agree about the diversity and the love of art. It's amazing to see what people from all over the world can create! Of course that kind of positive attention always attracts more negative personalities, but if they have nothing better to do than attack others, foo to them!
My draw is mainly the art, and the opportunities I get to support the talents of growing artists. (I tend to buy unique offbase adopts or commission art often). I have a few friends in the fandom, and my mate joined too so that is a factor as well :) My bestie and I are always streaming together and supporting each other as best we can even though we aren't very popular artists (She's awesome! There is so much to enjoy from the artists, fursuits, writers, etc. It's incredible to see what people can do.

I like the art, and I really like the amount of creativity and inspiration. The fandom has helped me change my representations of ideas in my art, and allowed me to represent who I am and what I think without being explicit.

I agree that the volumes of creativity in the fandom can really be inspiring :) I know my art has benefited from being around better artists and learning from them, and I am guilty of collecting a lot of different characters to practice on.
And while explicit art is a part of the fandom, there are MANY great clean artists out there! I love seeing the variety in styles and content between artists!-
I was going to include some examples of my art for show how my art changed, but I don't have any of the good stuff on this account yet. I'm slightly guilty for doing this, but I adore looking at other people's characters and drawing individual features but not posting them has helped me a lot for anatomy and such. But, like my teacher says, "Steal like an artist!"
I feel weird about this, but I really like the explicit art at times. However, what I meant by explicit was that I used to draw exactly what I wanted the viewer to think, but now I use things like metaphor and symbolism to let the viewer kinda make their own interpretations. Does that make sense?

Haha with 100+ characters, I don't often struggle for inspiration. But I do love to draw for others. And I love looking at other people's art :3 Especially improvements and the like! Get posting so you can show off!
And that does make sense. In this fandom, the context of explicit has a few meanings ;) So pardon my //dirty// mind haha. Though I rarely delve outside the realm of pinups myself heh xD

I understand completely. Speaking of pinups, I've never liked them before I came to this site and found SOOO many cute fluffs of different genders and sexualities and colors and species'!

I adore the sheer variety in poses and species that you can find! You can find everything from cute and flirty to sultry sexy still within the clean category, or if you're feeling a bit more...naughty, there's those too without delving into hardcore porn.
And getting organized is a major thing. I made the mistake of posting things with organization after the fact and it has been an effort to adjust an reorganize as I've spent more time in the fandom. If you're coming from FA, there are no folders, but then Weasyl and DA and computer hard drives do, so I got all mixed up. XD

Honestly, it's the absolute diversity of people, talent, and crazy shit that keeps going on. The furry fandom is art as a whole, rolled into 1 big genre of stuff. We're the ultimate fans of everything artistic. Even though this fandom invites a lot of trolling, and hate, there is always adversity to human nature. So, as just have to ignore them, and press on. What holds me here? Friends, and my own private fan base. I may not be the most celebrated fur, or even the most liked. Hell, I've made enemies along the way that have smeared my name through the mud. However, who I was then, vs who I am trying to be now, speaks volumes. So, I'm here for the long run, to prove I can change, and to prove that this fandom is my home. Whether we're artists, writers, lyricists, or what have you. Diversity, and sheer awesome are what glue my eyes, ears, and attentions to this thing we call the furry fandom.
