Oh I'd hoped I'd not have to put up one of these sorts of journals.
But then again, cars are pricey to deal with.

So the why.
As many of you may know, I picked up a rather cheep 1999 Civic. She's been my ride for a while, but last friday her brake pedal fell out from under my foot while driving. The brakes still worked, mostly, so I was able to limp her to a mechanic I liked. I was quoted over 1k to fix them. Basically what I paid to buy her. After also limping her elsewhere I was informed of a slightly lower (but still basically the same pricetag) for repairs and that there was actually more wrong with the brake system and that her timing belt would need replacing. I had to call a tow truck because letting me drive it home myself at this point was illegal.

Current plans are to sell her as a parts car, since the body is fine and she ran perfectly fine until the lines started bleeding. But that means replacing her.

So where do you come in?
I doubt I'll get overly much for her, and it's not exactly like my bank account is overflowing with funds. I don't want to ask for donations but I would very much love to do commissions to help pay for this. I try to stream often, and all commissions will be work on on stream.

My prices are $40 for the soft rendering style I've been enjoying doing so much and +50% for additional characters.

And just a little aside
Yes, I've already been told by several people how 'easy' the repair is. Before you join that number please understand I have no means, experience or tools to do said repair with. And it's BRAKE LINES. Things I'd really rather not be doing as my first mechanical work.
