Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Americans. I hope you all have a wonderful day, no matter how you plan to spend it. As for me, I plan to have a pretty quiet day. No turkey, but no huge mess of dishes to have to clean up afterward. No trips to see my family, but no afternoon spent hearing my aunt tell me what a failure I am because I like weird things like art and literature, and wasn't born with a silver spoon up my rear. Just a bit of corned beef, a bottle of wine, and a day where I don't have to do anything except maybe indulge in the odd cheesy horror film on NetFlix.
