I found out about an hour or so ago that my dad was taken to the hospital by my mom yesterday evening.
He had come home and wasn't feeling well, he started vomiting but it was only liquid until he started just dry heaving. His dinner had completely digested and he didn't throw up any food. My mom took him to the hospital and they kept him overnight. He went through 4 whole bags of fluids and had 4 drips of antibiotics.
He had blood work done and everything was kind of high but having dry heaved for a while is kind of stressful so they weren't too excessively worried about those numbers, they had his list of meds that he takes daily for high blood pressure and such anyway. But he stayed overnight and they decided that it was probably just a bug and also used some "-itus" word which was essentially just a fancy word for an upset stomach. Well he came home today and my mom told me all of this while I was at the store. He's doing a lot better today just feels like he got hit by a truck which is understandable.

Even so, any positive thoughts/prayers/whatever you can send his way would be very much appreciated.
I was thinking about it earlier and I don't know that he's been admitted to the hospital since my mom was pregnant with me.. so it's kind of hard to wrap my mind around even now. He's such a strong guy and I've never seen him in that kind of situation.
