HELLO HELLO as you can see, I'm a bit new here. Been on dA for a long time, finally decided to try to make a bit of a fresh start with another community. FA is butts so I ditched them a long time ago, but I'm really liking it here so far!
I go by Kess or Kessu most places online, mainly I'm a visual artist but I enjoy a good bit of writing as well. I am a huge nerd for science, fantasy, and pokemon, so if you like those kinds of things by all means drop me a line so we can spazz. :B
Currently I'm working on uploading some of my older things, but no worries, there will be new stuff too!

DID YOU KNOW CORDYCEPS IS A GENUS OF ASCOMYCETE FUNGI THAT INCLUDES ABOUT 400 SPECIES?!?!?!

YEP. AND EACH SPECIES HAS ITS OWN SPECIFIC INSECT HOST. SO COOL.
ALSO CERTAIN SPECIES ARE USED IN CHINESE MEDICINE AND THEIR HOST CATERPILLARS ARE "FARMED" FOR THE FUNGI.

Like good lord adenosine tri phosphate how it pops off a phosphate and activates proteins and everything agh too good.

Hhhhhh I actually hated my biochem class a lot but I will say that it was fascinating to see how metabolic processes link together as a whole.
(Also I learned in that class that poop is poop-colored because of bilirubins. THE MORE YOU KNOW.)
