Hi all, I'm back again. And just in time for an impending snow storm, apparently. Here's a little list of items to check before storms head your way. I made it for others but I figure I might as well share it with all of you, too. This is just a short off-the-top-of-my-head list. Feel free to add items below.

Snow's coming.

Now's a good time to check storm-related equipment and supplies.
- Snow blower (oil, fuel)
- Generator (oil, fuel, starter battery)
- Grill (propane, burners; charcoal)
- Sump pump (pump, backup battery)
- Weather radio (find a clear station, batteries, hand crank)
- FRS/GMRS walkie-talkies (have a known channel and privacy channel picked out among family/friends)
- Flashlights (bulb, batteries)
- Car chargers for devices like cell phones

- Stored/bottled water
- Non-perishable/pre-cooked food
- Candles
- Matches
- Smoke detectors and batteries

... and so on.
