All Umbrites have:
Four orbs around each wrist and ankle
At least one orb at the end of each ear
Three orbs going down their back of descending size
Two orb spouts next to their tails

Common Traits:
Medium/short ears
Medium/short length ear orb spouts
White, yellow, green, blue glowing orbs

Uncommon Traits:
Long ears
Lengthy ear orb spouts
Orange, ice blue, purple, lime green glowing

Rare Traits:
Two ear orbs
A third back orb sprout
Red, magenta, midnight blue glowing

Extremely Rare Traits:
Forked Ear orbs
Three ear orbs
Mint, lavender, pink glowing
Two different kinds of orb colors (more than two has never been discovered, and the two colors are usually close together in color and they're usually common colors)

The orbs on an Umbrite's wrists and ankles glow dimmer than the orbs on their orb sprouts
They use their orbs to communicate with other Umbrites underwater
Every orb glows the same color and only one color (IT IS VERY RARE TWO HAVE TWO COLORS)
The color of their orbs matches the color of their tongue
They have sex like mammals they don't nurse their young they lay gel-like eggs . They don't nurse their young so females don't have breasts. When pregnant a female will lay about one to four eggs.

When hatched, the newly hatched Umbrites will instinctively try to consume the other unhatched eggs as it is a great source of nourishment. It is pretty rare to have twins (two in one egg that is) where both Umbrites make it to hatching because they will try to eat each other while in the egg so there is less competition.
