This is like beating a dead horse, but this is important.
I just got word from South's original creator that my ex is refusing to let go of my character - my coyotl, South - when its my character. Upon a resolution made in mid July of this year, I granted the permission for him to get a custom similar to my South, which he agreed up as well as he paid for. I have notes from when that went down.
He had to complete 3 things:
Return 4 artworks to me & leave me alone
Inform artists whom he commissioned - claiming South was his - to fix their info to correct info. - I got this cleared up, today.
South is officially copyrighted to me and I do have the US Copyright Office VA (Visual Arts) certificates as proof.
Anyone, artist or fursuit maker, who accepts a commission of my coyotl, South, in any way, shape or form without my explict written consent will be reported.
I'm the sole owner and copyright holder for South as well as his mate, East.
Explict permission was granted from South and East's original creator to file the papers for copyright.
