I had a thought --something which appealed to the programmer in me, and to the storyteller in me.

A new story, but using the Ren'Py engine and made into an interactive story.

Bane2253 was nice enough to point me in the right direction, after I'd happened onto his demo build for his new game Blackgate. I think it's kickass :)

I had, in theory, a few stories on the proverbial back-burner; a sequel of sorts to NCSI 03 (currently envisioned as a Dimitri foursome, if that can be worked out) or perhaps even a sequel to NCSI 02 (currently envisioned as a Beh'Grak & AL re-encounter).

Even without artwork, and even without sound, the game engine could be handily used to give a sense of flow to the stories which they don't currently have.

I'd need a sense of whether anybody in the broader audience would be interested in seeing that kind of thing prototyped, and even better if I could get a sense of whether the (eventual) artwork would be needed in whichever quantity and quality.
