We got our first snow today... I am so excited about it, I'm writing about it everywhere I can. I'm bummed that it didn't stick, though. Emus aren't too impressed with it... but this is their first winter anyways. Turkeys could care less, there isn't much that bothers them... and my chickens won't stop laying eggs... maybe they didn't get the memo--chickens typically slow down their egg-laying during the winter months. Not mine. Now we're swimming in eggs! TURN OFF THE EGG MACHINES!
