Do you ever get a commission where you want it to look just right, but can't get it there?
I've been slamming my head against the wall with a commission I'm working on. It doesn't feel right, and I dunno what I need to do to get it to right.

Pretty much. :V I'm happy my commissioners are always so patient. Been trying to improve and push myself with commissions these days, it takes time.

People complain about artists taking so long: but sometimes, I just take forever to get a result I like because I have to stop, start over..

Sometimes I go for weeks picking at a drawing, trying to get it right, and then suddenly one day, I wake up and know exactly how to do it
