Life so far is kind of in the dumps. Sunday night my cat gets sick. Pukes for fifteen minutes straight. Perfect I thought. Got a sample of that and some fresh stool. Vet was closed that day so I waited until next day to turn in the samples. They told me have the cat eat first then bring him in. Cat wouldn't eat after some advice from a friend to boil some chicken for him. Nope. Nada. All he did was sleep. So I took him in around afternoon. Vet said they couldn't find any results from his stool or vomit. They told me they would do bloodwork on him and give him barium to watch that digest. Fine I said.

Next day, no update. I'm worried sick. Next day and still nothing and I call during a meeting I had for work. Get put on hold only to get a text and picture later of my cat that they still don't have an answer for me.

So cheery little me goes to the vet to ask what the hell is going on with my cat. Clerk at the desk, super nice, tells me doctor hasn't written down results but says its something with his heart and stomach. Great I'm thinking. They've been force feeding him and giving him an IV too.

So today I head back to visit him. He was super happy to see me. Doctor tells me and shows me some kind of obstruction is in the way so the barium isn't going through. So he's going to try to do exploratory surgery on him. Great I said. Told me also he's bound to get skin cancer too because of the pink on his ears and brow. Lovely. So just news left and right and cat will be there probably another few days. Clerk said the doc will give me a 50% discount at least but I have a feeling the bill is going to be rather pricey so...
