I know I've been kinda' sorta' quiet on the art front. It was a less-than-awesome December but I'm trying not to let that get to me.

For those who are down on the comic trip: One of my favorite pay font makers - Comicraft - is running their Annual Never-To-Be-Repeated New Year's Day Font Sale. For a short time, all of their fonts are $20.13 or some multiple of such (even the ones normally under twenty bucks). I used previous versions of this sale to scoop their 'Comicrazy', 'HedgeBackwards' and their 'ZapNZoinks' bundle. HedgeBackwards normally runs about $150 and it has become one of my go-to fonts. Not too shabby and a great chance for comic folks to get some damn fine fonts on the cheap. = )

This year, I picked up 'CodeMonkey' -> (Link) I had my eye on this one for a bit. Not planning on using it so much for projects as I am for personal use.

Word to the wise - Whether you're getting some fonts through this sale or just looking into something new for a project, I suggest going for the International versions if available and you can swing it. With Biff, I have had a few scripts with non-English words in them. Normally this wouldn't be a problem. When dealing with something specialized (and not what came with my systems or programs), it proved a bit of an issue as one of the fonts I rocked lacked those extra characters. Not a great thing to have happen when you're about to post a page. So keep that in mind when you go looking for something neat for your next project.
