I have suddenly lost ALL pen sensitivity in my art programs. Mostly Sai which is my go to program. Photoshop doesn't have any pen pressure at ALL. No matter what settings I mess with. I have photoshop cs2 and I know I really should upgrade but this version was essentially gifted to me through my friends husband who had a free version through where he works but I can't upgrade it since his work switched to Mac only -ugh- and he had been given the ok to give me the pc version.

but it never works with my tablet I have now, the graphire it worked ...decently I had to fiddle with settings but I'd get some pressure working with it but with the intuos it doesn't do shit. I just get blocky wiggly lines as if i was shaking all over.
any suggestions for that had been "reinstall Photoshop"... sigh unless someone has a copy of a newer version -would LOVE to try cs5orwhatever- XD

Sai is also now giving me the same issues where the pen sensitivity has just DIED. It was working just fine last night and that is what I can't figure out.

I've rebooted. I've unplugged the tablet. I've uninstalled the drivers. I've reinstalled the drivers. I've even gone so far as to unplug my entire computer and left it off for half an hour to see if anything happens -I also used this time to clean out the fur AHHAHAA cats gotta love them-. and other than my computer running smoother thanks to the cleaning the tablet still doesn't work right.

I have a badge I need to draw D: and I FINALLY HAVE AN IDEA FOR IT.

alrighty so pressure issues have been fixed mainly for Sai.

i'm going to write photoshop off a a lost cause for the moment. siighh..
