OK Highway Patrol Captain George Brown says the best “tip” for women to not get raped by a cop is to “follow the law in the first place so you don’t get pulled over.”
This comes after 3 arrests in 3 weeks of serial rapists in OK... all police officers.

Pro tip: if you’re signaled to pull over (whether you’re male or female) and you’re in a place that has no witnesses, turn your hazard lights on to acknowledge the officer’s siren, and drive to the nearest gas station or populated area. This is accepted protocol by every agency. You are not obligated pull over until you can do so safely. This includes personal safety. Understand your rights, brothers and sisters. There are disgusting examples of authority in this world.

Summary: Jones pulls over at a gas station. Cop yells for his ID. Jones reaches into his car to retrieve ID (trying to comply with the request) and the officer opens fire. Shoots him, tells him to get on the ground, shoots him again, cuffs him, then calls for an ambulance.
The man apologizes and asks what he did wrong many times.
The cop originally went to confront Jones because he unbuckled his seat belt too soon upon pulling into the gas station.

Louisiana Police Officer Shoots, Kills 14-Year-Old Honor Roll Student
On Wednesday, Sheriff Jerry Larpenter defended the deputy, saying the still unnamed seven-year veteran of the department “feared for his life” when confronted by what appeared to be a 45-caliber pistol but was actually a BB gun designed to look like a Sig Sauer .45. Family of the three teenagers who made it out of the house alive claim the deputy had a “killer mentality.”

The deputy claims that Tillman answered the door holding the BB gun, which is why he shot. However, the 3 witnesses to the shooting say that Tillman was not holding the gun when the deputy shot him.

According to Tillman’s aunt, Comeako Tillman, “He (the deputy) came to the door and did not identify himself and started shooting when Cam opened the door.” The teens slammed the door after the first shot at which point the deputy fired more shots through the door striking Tillman.

“He said ‘I’ve been shot,’ and the police came in and kept shooting him again. He was shot and defenseless. Why do you have to keep shooting?” she said.

Shot for trespassing in an abandoned building with a group of other teenagers. Do you know how many times groups of teenagers have been busted getting into old, abandoned buildings without getting shot? They shot a kid, point blank and with no reason to think he was attacking them, for trespassing.

And that's all the mental energy I have for cop culture, race relations, and misogyny in the US today. I need to smoke and take a shower.
