So today, while Soryane was calling Canada about address change and other paperwork for our new apartment, we are labeled as COMMON-LAWS. There is good and bad news attached to that.

The good news is that Canada sees us having a strong relationship and is allowing me to stay without issues.

The bad news is that she will no longer get any government support checks from both Canada and Quebec, which is more than a quarter of her revenues. Those checks help support our child Flo and other bills we need to pay. The government thinks that I make enough to support a family of three with the freelance jobs I take, which in America, the total amount I make a year is still WAY below the poverty line. They are basically taking what I make and adding it to Soryane's overall total. On top of that, because of my freelance job, Soryane will have to pay MORE to the government because my income is now jointed with hers.

So yeah, big time money troubles at the worst possible time before we move...

In conclusion, my beloved Soryane and I will have our doors open for commissions to help pay what we need to get back on our feet until the government reviews our situation and continue to send support checks to us ( which will take a few months of more... ) Any commissions, no matter how small amount, will help us.
