I've started using twitter a lot over the past few weeks (I've always been more of a tumblr or plurk person) and I know that plenty of artists use it for various things.

So if I started a twitter, would people actually follow it? It would definitely be art-focused, I would probably use it to show sketches, lineart, or other in-progress stuff that I don't upload here. I tend to show those to a few people to get feedback while I'm working anyway, so this would just broaden that net.

It would also mean that I don't have to make a journal every time I have a random thought, but I would still try to keep it mostly to art posts.

Tumblr of course is another possibility, but juggling my personal and art tumblrs seems like it would be a pain. Which is the main reason I haven't done it already.

Anyway, it was just a sudden thought. How are you folks doing?
