CHARACTERS FOR SALE by Kelsiiluv

I'm ONLY selling characters I made personally. They were all one-offs meaning i drew them once just for fun then never again.

Once bought you can do whatever you want to them EXCEPT sell them for a higher price than I sold them to you, or do anything commercially with my art.

Some of this art is really old, and i'm willing to draw you a newer, updated version with my new(ish) style, colored sketch for about 10 dorrah more.

      You cant. I mean, it'd be an entire contract for something like that and i'm not set up for it.

          you can do whatever you want to the characters after i sell them. I dont want MY ART used commerically. does that make more sense?

            yes you should make that definition clearly as alot of peeps including my self would not buy a char with you getting full rights

              well hopefully ive made it clearer. my personal artwork that ive done of that character is not up for commercial use. the character's image itself i really don't care.

        characters are not copyrighted. They are instead, trademarked.
        So, in order to create a contract to sell the rights to a character, you'd have to pay for a trademark, as the character is not copyrighted to you.
        In other words, legally speaking, if you sell a character to someone, you dont have the legal rights to prevent them from using it commercially.
        As, there are no rights to a character unless you pay the couple hundred for a trademark.

          also i should be more clear. i dont give a fuck what is done to the characters after the fact, i'm more talking about my personal art. which no, cannot be used commercially without my consent. I'm working at the moment, cant actually stop and be comprehensive sorry
