i have and always will love pretty much all your work - adult, not adult, "weird", whatever lol. so more art of any kind will always make me happy! post all the things! \o/ i personally don't care about thumbnails one way or another, the one you made is cute OR you can just make a generic one like you did with gore/vore one? like take out the specific character and just choose a pattern background so then people aren't like "oh this is a part of the picture". like i said, it doesn't personally bother me one way or another, but it was just one idea to try and help with that bit!

TBH, I think weasyl's red/blue/yellow frame and using filters is enough, maybe "[18+]" before the title...but having a uniform "adult" thumbnail might dissuade some people? After all, one doesn't quite know what's going on behind the thumb, if you used a pattern, or uploaded in batches, it might be clear that it's just a thumbnail and not a section of image. Another thing to consider it might look weird or monotonous in your gallery and folder.

But really, if people don't want to see adult stuff, they should filter it out, or check the frame on the thumbnail, my opinion is that the onus isn't on the artist when users can use site functions to filter material. That's just my personal feeling, and how I operate my gallery, I don't want to sound like I'm telling you what you should do! Whatever you choose to do is equally valid from my perspective.

It's not what I watch you for, but hey by all means. And I wouldn't say a warning thumbnail is misleading at all; that's one of the great things about this site in that the thumbnail functionality actually you know, works ( I won't name names regarding sites that don't, heh.).

Thanks all, I had just kept the gallery pretty tame thus far and figured it might be preferable to some to keep it that way. I'll keep all this in mind with whatever I wind up doing! ^^

I'd say upload it and don't crop the thumbnail. People can filter out adult works if they don't like them.

I'm cool with it, and appreciate your use of a censored thumbnail. You may consider also including what makes it adult in the thumbnail (penis, nips, vulva, m/m, m/f, f/f, orgy, fluids, etc).

upload as much adult art as you feel like.
