i always ask artists this because i find it really fascinating??
how do you draw on your tablet (if you use a tablet/tablet like that)? do you put it in front of you? in front to the right/left? in your lap? with the height of my desk i have to have it on my lap! feel free to comment below im rly curious
I sit with it in my lap and hold it upright/slightly tilted with my left hand, while the back of the tablet is resting on my table for extra support.
Unless I get really into it, then the table is in the way... I have a weird habit of turning my tablet around instead of the canvas, when doing tricky lines.
I cannot for the life of me draw with the tablet laying flat on the table.. or anywhere else really, I need the tilt D:
Haha, yeah I think the tilting is a combination of having a really big tablet, and never having had a table that I could draw at. When I was a child I didn't have at table to sit and draw at, so I would you a hardcover book or a clipboard to have my paper on, and then sit with it in my lab holding it up in a tilt with my left hand. So yeah, when I got a tablet that habit just kinda stuck.
I think the turning the tablet rather than the canvas thing is just a result of having used a tablet for 9-10 years now. It just feels natural to me.
Usually I have it in my lap completely, or in my lap while also being propped up by the edge of the desk so that it's at an angle
a lot of people commenting seem to do that angle thing i had no idea it was something people did? i'll have to try that too hmmm. neat!

I have it in my lap with one hand propping it up slightly. I don't usually have a desk to draw at! But when I do, I sometimes have it on the desk with the back of the tablet propped up on the edge of the computer/keyboard, but more often than not it's in my lap!
