To clear my mind and test out my refurbished and updated dog suit, me, my brother, and my bestie went to Dragon Con today. It was as expected- lots of people, lots of walking, and lots of picture opportunities for, with, and of the cosplayers. The big surprise however was the Fur Meet being run by ATL Wolf of Georgia Furs, and an even BIGGER surprise was running into Kheisha of Seadog Suits!

You may have seen her around Tumblr as Bean the Tanuki. She's a really sweet person and gave me tons of tips for my own suit crafting. It was great geeking out and having a productive conversation with a maker whom I admire. So if you're in the market for a new and quality suit, please go and check out her work. I also danced quite a bit at the rave directly following the meet. It was fun cutting loose, and I feel the more I do it the more confidence I gain to perhaps enter a competition. I can at least stay on beat well enough, but my techniques are shoddy and limited; gotta work on that in the meantime!

tl;dr-- It was a good ol' Furry day. ^^
