IF, and it's a huge if, you want to denouce something, such as an ideology, an attitude, or a belief system, at least make a compelling argument, for fucks sake, AND BY COMPELLING I DON'T MEAN "I think/heard/read somewhere it's bad/wrong so it MUST be!"; and FUCKING TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THAT PEOPLE WILL DISAGREE, AND THAT THEY TOO CAN MAKE EVEN BETTER ARGUMENTS, PROVIDE PROOF AND EVIDENCE FOR THEM, AND FUCKING DISPROVE YOUR CLAIMS.
You are not the fucking moral paragon, you're not fucking infallible, you don't know everything and you definitely don't know better. Specially not to have the right to censor and demean others that disagree.

pretty much, Rory had left because the growing community had started to basically bitch him out for the same reasons you are posting here on this journal (and he has no intention of returning since the rest of the admins seem complacent with this)
I'm likely to believe him because i am slowly now seeing journals like yours pop up; it's concerning and i'm not sure i want to stick around if this site becomes tumblr 2

Yeah, it's from that one, among other stuff I've encountered in the past few months. I'm a vocal supporter of the death of political correctness myself, mostly because the people who go around getting offended for others and calling words 'slurs' and 'offensive' regardless of context are the same people who are giving words such destructive power.
As they say, words are NOT offensive, ideas are what CAN BE offensive. A slur without an offensive context is just like any other word.
