Woo! I've got a new job starting soon...campus security for Allied Barton! The pay is significantly better, along with the hours, plus my schedule is constant so no 'wups randomly assigned a work day' stuff anymore :D Very excited to start soon and hopefully the third shift stuff doesn't tear me up too bad haha.

And since I was applying for this I decided to check out a nearby Aikido dojo here in town. Always liked Aikido for it's smooth motion and effective self-defense methods. Now that I've got this security gig I figured this would be the best time to act on that...especially cuz my Tae Kwon Do techniques are essentially gone x_x

Anyone else ever do martial arts? I'd love to hear about stories (especially Aikido!) if you'd like to share :D
