On FA and dA I let it be known that I'll be giving out numbers to those who are interested in my species soon... so I wanna see if there are people here interested in them as well.

    I think they are boss. And I love bats and bat-like things, so that's always a bonus. However, I don't see myself owning one any time soon :x mostly because I am trying to do more with what I have and will have soon ffirst. D:

      Yah you do that! I expect others to not want one, either, because it's just weird to own a species someone else made.
      I still kinda feel that way about other's species, and yet I made my own dreamy (during the MYO dreamy event). I think all I'd do with that character is draw pretty pictures. No real story. aha

      But yes, give your own characters love!

        I already feel kinda bad about having a mirromy and it sitting there collecting sediment. :x I haven't even looked into their lore all the way. She's got no story or anything x.x I'm usually too deep into my own headworlds to mingle with others, unfortunately. It seems easier for me to grab a species of another if they don't have well established lore or just simple lore.
        Anyhow, I do really think they are awesome, nonetheless. And I do actually like discussing headworlds with others :D

    I think they are a super awesome species and incredibly well thought out. However, much like FeyPheonix I don't see myself owning one anytime soon. This is due in part to me feeling that I could never draw them right (even though I think the tropical ones are awesoooome), as well as worrying about what I'd do with one (character history, personality, interactions) and worrying I'd get it wrong. And then theres the host of characters that I have already that I never seem to draw ^^; I don't think it'd do justice to your species for me to have one because like the rest of my characters I'd never end up drawing them and the Volatikai are too cool to just sit around not being drawn.

      This I have to keep thinking about, because I don't want people to feel like the species is so restricted that they could barely do anything with them.
      haha and if people don't really use their character, I don't mind/care. xD I make characters a lot and hardly use them. So that will for sure be no problem for me.

      For the rules and things, I'm trying to think about what are MUSTS, and ones I'd LIKE to happen, but don't have to happen, and then the many other things that ARE allowed.

      It's hard. XD Very hard.

        I always worry with other people's species y'know? With my own species I can determine whether or not its likely that they'd do something or not. With other people's species I'm constantly pestering them with questions because I don't want to get something wrong.

        I tend to use characters I don't draw but its like I talk about them but forget to draw them. I'd forget half my characters existed if it weren't for my Excel Spreadsheet.

        I get overwhelmed easily though so even if a species is non-restrictive, I simply just don't know where to start. Let;s not get me started on how long it took me to design a couple of my characters cause they simply wouldn't agree with me on design. My character Zeke went through like 10 color and pattern concepts after I finally decided what he was going to look like otherwise lol

    I'm very interested in them. They're extremely well thought out, and I could use the practice for drawing bat-like things! But I feel like I'd need to know more about them and their behaviour, instinctual habits, etc. before I owned one, you know? I'd hate to have to pester you on whether or not I'm portraying them as they should be.
